The Magnificent Ruins of the Khmer Empire

The ruins of the Khmer Empire include around 70 temples that are dotted across 50 square miles. The largest group of temples is located in the capital city of the Khmer Empire – Angkor Thom.

Ba Yon Temple

Ba Yon Temple is found in the heart of Angkor Thom. It is found just a 30-minute drive from FCC Angkor and other similarly located Angkor Wat hotels. The temple is known for its number of stone towers that depict elegant carvings of Bodhisatva Avalokiteshwara.

Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat is Cambodia’s most popular temple site. Found in Siem Reap, Angkor Wat treats its guests to astounding views with its intricately carved towers spiralling towards the heavens.

Baphuon Temple

Baphuon Temple was built in order to honour the Hindu God Shiva. The temple, which was built during the mid-11th century, was once the state temple of Udayadityavarman II.
